Family Insight Evening: Role of Nutrition, Movement & Sleep
When: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM Where: St. Joseph Church, Community Room
Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation, it is deeply connected to how we care for our bodies. Nutrition, movement, and sleep all play a powerful role in emotional regulation, stress response, and overall well-being.
Join us for an informative and practical discussion with Alexia Bauer from Vagal as we explore how daily habits can support mental health recovery and resilience. This session will offer accessible, realistic strategies that caregivers and individuals alike can begin incorporating right away. Whether you’re supporting a loved one or focusing on your own well-being, understanding the connection between physical health and mental health can empower sustainable, everyday change.
Led by NAMI CCNS Family-to-Family teachers, this session will focus on crisis management skills, meaningful connection, and shared understanding among those who truly “get it.” You’ll have the opportunity to learn, reflect, and exchange insights in a structured, compassionate environment.
This group is open to adults who have participated in NAMI Family-to-Family or NAMI Family Support Groups. No registration is required.
